Bio:

I’m a versatile and emotionally grounded actor, professionally trained with a wide-ranging skill set and a deep commitment to growth, and professional excellence. My versatility also extends to sports like table tennis, football, basketball, cricket, swimming, athletics, and more. These skills often translate into dynamic and physical performances in a variety of roles.

Roles and Experience

I’ve had the privilege of portraying diverse characters across 6 short films (Royal Borough of Greenwich, BFI, YOURCINEMAFILMS, NewBornTalent, MYM, Drillins, etc.), including a US Diplomat, Solicitor, Posh Eaton College Boy, footballer, the Duke of Hastings, a Gen Z social media star, policeman, a drug dealer, and a school kid. These roles required adaptability, depth, and a nuanced approach to storytelling.

In addition to short films, I’ve appeared in high-profile commercials for brands such as Poptarts, Puma, Apple, Fiverr, and EE, and featured in TV series as Class K Official in Bad Education Season 5. Most recently, I’ve taken on leading roles in high-quality productions, including Too Soon (Wrong and Strong, web series) and the docu-series Changing the Narrative (now streaming: Watch Here http://blackscantswim.com/changing-the-narrative-videos/).

Training and Performances

I’ve immersed myself in rigorous training, attending weekly classes at:
• Identity School of Acting (IDSA): 6 hours weekly, focusing on voice and vocal clarity, rhythmic text, monologues, improvisation, screen acting techniques, Shakespeare, archetypes in TV, and physical movement. I recently performed in the sold-out End-of-Year Showcase (Against the Tide), earning the 2nd highest score in the U-21 Showcase with my performance as Bilal from Red Pitch. I also played Mark (Posh boy from Eaton), Dennis (a US Diplomat) and a policeman in the playwright 13 by Mike Bartlett.
• National Youth Theatre (NYT) and Black Arts Production (BAP) Theatre: 16 hours weekly at NYT for the Stepping Up Course and I’m performing plays open to the public. BAP includes 2 hours weekly, training under Judith Jacobs and having performed in the End-of-Year Presentation with commendations for emotional authenticity.
• SnP Global: 2-6 hours weekly, working with Leon Gordon on storytelling, monologues, and advanced acting techniques and screen acting. Additionally, I’ve received one-on-one coaching with Chioma Neke and completed courses such as Eric Vetro’s “Sing Like the Stars” (BBC Maestro), integrating vocal training into my daily practice.

Analytical and Cultural Immersion

I’ve expanded my craft by attending workshops, theatre performances, and screenings, studying the techniques of A-class actors. For example, I’ve analysed Wentworth Miller’s mastery of subtlety—his use of microexpressions, controlled delivery, pacing, and tone—which has deepened my understanding of nuance in movement, timing, and emotional delivery.

Traveling to countries like Kenya, Morocco, Turkey, Portugal, and Germany, I’ve explored landmarks, museums, and cultural hubs. These experiences have enriched my storytelling by allowing me to draw from a broader emotional palette and deliver authentic performances.

Commitment to Growth

I maintain a disciplined daily routine of voice exercises, Meisner improvisation drills, and physical movement practices to stay sharp and versatile. My efforts in these areas continue to elevate my ability to embody diverse roles and deliver compelling performances.
